Configure immediate plan sign-ups

Create or edit a plan and select "Immediate" as the sign-up "Type" for the plans that do not require administrator verification and allow immediate independent sign-up by users.

How users sign up for a plan

All users who don't have a subscription yet can sign up for a plan.

Nonmembers go to your web or mobile apps, press the Sign Up button next to the desired location and view available plans.

  1. Upon selecting the desired plan and pressing Subscribe, the user is prompted to log in and guided through a welcoming onboarding process in the app.

  2. The user selects the subscription start date and can enable the "Renewal" option to have their subscription renewed automatically. If the "Renewal" option is disabled, the subscription will end after the plan period is over (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, etc.).

  3. Users can sign up as individual members as well as companies.

    • Users who sign up as individual members are instantly approved upon successful payment and appear in Locations > Community > Users.

    • For users that choose "I'm purchasing as a business", the following happens:

      • Users appear in Locations > Community > Users as members.

      • A company with the specified name is created on the Locations > Community > Companies.

      • The member is assigned as a "Manager" of the company.

  4. User's name is prefilled based on the information they entered during onboarding and they can add their billing details which will automatically appear on all invoices and receipts generated by the app.

  5. When users sign up for a plan on their own, they pay for their first subscription period right away, even if the subscription start date is set for a future date. Only after this, the system invites them to the Community, and a subscription is created.

  6. Location administrators receive a tracking notification each time someone signs up for a plan.

  7. Once the subscription starts, users get all the plan benefits, including credits, Kisi or SALTO KS access to unlock doors, Wi-Fi, and more.

Members can also sign up for plans if they don't have any active subscription by going to the Locations > Membership > Billing > press Subscribe in the "Subscription" section or by following the link to the plan.

Our recommendations

  1. Copy the plan public link to share a direct sign-up link on your marketing website and social media.

  2. Once new users sign up, welcome them and introduce them to your community with our onboarding tips.
