If you're looking to attract more leads to your space, a great strategy is to run marketing campaigns, provide trial days, discounts during your launch, time-sensitive discounts, or special offers on first bookings with you. Spacebring allows you to manage these campaigns by setting up coupons and providing promo codes for customers or leads to redeem their discounts.
In this article, we'll guide you through how coupons and promo codes work, how to set them up, and how to use them for various marketing goals.
Understand coupons and promo codes
Coupon represents the discount you want to offer and its rules. It specifies the products or services in the app it should apply to, the percentage or amount of discount, and how many times it can be redeemed.
Promo code is a unique code linked to a coupon that administrators can share with targeted users so that they can redeem this coupon in the app.
Add a coupon
To create a coupon, navigate to the Locations > Settings > Discounts page and press Create.
Coupon properties
Redeemable for | Type of resources the coupon is redeemable for:

Apply to Specific Items | Enable if the coupon should apply only to the specific items in the app. Select the items from the dropdown. |
Discount Type |

Percentage, % or Fixed Amount | Depending on the selected discount type, enter the discount percent or amount. |
Applicable to Credits | Appears only for the "Percentage" discount type. Enable if you want the discount in coupon to apply to both monetary and credit payments. |
Limited Redemption | Enable to define the specific number of times the coupon can be redeemed. |
Once a coupon is created, it cannot be edited. If you enabled the "Apply to Specific Items" option when creating a coupon, you can only modify the "Applicable Items" section. Learn how to delete a coupon
Add a promo code
To create a promo code, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Locations > Settings > Discounts page.
Select a coupon for which the promo code should work.
Press
Createin the "Promo codes" section.
Promo code properties
Code | The code word that users need to enter at the checkout to redeem the discount for the specific app resource. |
Expiration | Enable if the promo code should be valid until a specific date and select the date of expiration of its validity. |
Limited by First Purchase | Enable if the promo code should be valid only for users who are making the first purchase of a resource of this type in the app. |
Limited Redemption | Enable to define the specific number of times the promo code can be redeemed. The maximum redemption number for a promo code must not exceed the coupon's redemption limit. |
