You may want to enhance your app with interactive floor plans to help users easily locate resources in your space and visually select preferred available areas, while enabling administrators to track space utilization visually.
Floor plans come as an add-on and are available on specific plans.
Prerequisites
Before ordering floor plans add-on for your app, make sure to prepare the following:
Add all resources that you have in the space on the relevant pages (Rooms, Desks, Offices) of each location in the app.
For resources that require bookings by selecting a specific seat, add each seat as a separate resource to the app. For example, in a hot desk zone, if users need to book specific seats, add each seat as a separate desk; if users should book the zone as a whole, list it as one resource with a certain seating capacity.
Prepare a plan for each floor with the names of all rooms, desks, and offices stated on the image in the same way you have them named in your app.
Ensure the floor plan is in a standard straight (vertical or horizontal) orientation and cannot at an angle.
Clearly display each resource that should be bookable separately with its boundaries outlined. If you have some desks that require bookings by seats, your floor plan must include the name for each seat.
All resources on the floor plan must be labeled. If any resources aren't labeled with names, they will be made interactive based on our designer's definition. Changing it later will incur a fee.
Calculate the area of each floor in square meters.
Order floor plans
To order one or several floor plans for your app contact our support and provide us with the following information:
A plan for each floor with the names of the rooms, desks, and offices stated on the image in the same way you have them named in your app.
The total area of each floor in square meters.
Name of the floor plan that should appear in the app.
Name of the location where the floor plan has to be uploaded.
Complete the purchase for the floor plans add-on.
Spacebring team will build the floor plan based on the file shared, upload it to your app and notify you.
It takes up to 14 days for our team to create one floor plan.
Interactive floor plan in your app will closely resemble the floor scheme you provided, but please note that due to technical limitations, it may not be 100% as detailed and accurate and could have minor deviations.
Changes to floor plans
Once the floor plan is ready and uploaded, administrators can manage the floor plan's name, visibility, and mappings of interactive resourcess on their own. Manage floor plans
For additional changes or edits to the floor plan after the initial setup, you can contact Spacebring team. Please note that such changes will incur a fee:
Adding new resources to the floor plan. For example, if you have a new room or office.
Redrawing or relocating some resources. For example, you relocated some desks in your space or some office was divided into two.
Changing how resources are booked from the floor plan. For example, you want to switch from booking an entire zone to booking by individual seats.
Making the previously unlabeled resources interactive or bookable in a different way.
