Use secure in-app messaging to centralize communication and encourage member networking.
With chats, you can:
Replace external tools by letting members connect, network, and message each other directly within your web portal and mobile app.
Have centralized communication between customers and administrators.
Enable Chats
Tap the (...) next to the network name > Network settings > Chats.
Enable the "Chats" switch.
Once enabled, the Chats icon will appear on the main navigation menu for both administrators and users.
Chats are enabled at the network level. If you turn on chats, the feature will become available in all locations. Chats are enabled by default for all networks.
How administrators chat with customers
Administrators can initiate or continue conversations with any customer (members, nonmembers) to provide support or follow up on requests.
From the Chats page: Go to the Chats page and open an existing conversation or click
New chatat the top right to search for a specific customer.From a customer profile: Navigate to Customers, find the user, open their profile, and click
Chat.Alternatively, click a customer’s name anywhere it appears (such as on a booking, support ticket, or notification) to open their profile and start a chat.
How users chat with other users
Users can discover and message other members of the community to foster networking. The way they find other users depends on your visibility settings:
Via the Community page: If you set the Community page visibility to "Location members" or "Network members," users can browse and start a chat with anyone listed. Understand and use visibility settings
Via other pages: If the Community page visibility is set to "Administrators," users can still start chats from other pages. For instance, they can message someone directly from a Feed post or a shared booking.
Manage messages
Attachments: To send files, contracts, or images, click the "Attachment" (paperclip) icon in the bottom right. Check the allowed media and file formats here.
Delete messages: Users and administrators can unsend a message by hovering over the message, tapping the (...) button, and pressing
Delete.

How do I disable chats?
To turn off Chats, go to Network settings > Chats and toggle the "Chats" switch off. This will hide the chat icon from the navigation menu for all users.
