Credits are usually received with the subscription or purchased as a credit package. However, there may be situations where it is necessary to give or deduct credits from the customer's balance manually.
Give credits
Go to the Customers page.
Open the user or company profile.
Locate "Credit balance" section > click
Adjust balance.Adjustment type β choose
Add.Expiration
Choose
Neverto give permanent credits, orSelect a specific expiration date
Enter the amount.
Optionally, add a "Memo" to help the customer recognize it.
The customer will get a notification about the credit addition.
Deduct credits
Go to the Customers page.
Open the user or company profile.
Locate "Credit balance" section > click
Adjust balance.Adjustment type β choose
Deduct.Enter the amount.
Optionally, add a "Memo" to help the customer recognize it.
If a customer has a mix of expiring and non-expiring credits or credits with different expiration dates, the credits that expire soonest will be deducted first. The customer will get a notification about the credit deduction.
