Send emails to the benefit providers through Zapier

Notify your benefit providers about new applications via Zapier integration.

Updated over 9 months ago

Administrators can track all benefit applications on the Benefit Applications and Notifications pages. Meanwhile, sometimes you must also email a particular benefit provider who doesn't belong to your organization so they can deliver a service. In this case, you can set up such automation through the integration between your app and Zapier.

Zapier is a distinct company not affiliated with us. For any inquiries regarding Zapier's solutions, services, or pricing, please reach out to Zapier directly. We do not have the authority to provide information or support on behalf of Zapier.

Send emails to the benefit providers

Configure Zapier trigger

  1. Create benefits in your location and apply for any of them.

  2. Log in to Zapier and press "Create Zap."

  3. On the "Trigger" step, select Spacebring among other apps > choose event "New Benefit Application."

  4. Log in to your Spacebring account (with email as an administrator) > select your location from the drop-down list. Then, choose a benefit about which applications you want to send emails to the benefit provider.

5. Continue and test your trigger. While testing a trigger, Zapier will find recently made benefit applications. Select the benefit application created by you.

If you see that there was no application found after testing a trigger, it means that you still need to make any benefit applications in this location to proceed.

Configure Zapier action

  1. On the "Action" step, select the app for sending confirmations (Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Email by Zapier, etc.)

  2. Log in with the account from which you want the emails to be sent (for example, [email protected]), and choose an action like "Send Email." The name of the action may differ for various apps, but no matter what app you choose, it must support the action of sending an email through Zapier.

  3. Fill in all required fields following the guidelines below.

β€” In the "To" field or any other field where you define to whom the email must be sent, type the email address of your benefits provider or the person who must know about the benefit applications. For example, type "[email protected]."

β€” In the "Subject" field, type what subject you want to apply. For example, you can type "New Benefit Application."
β€” In the "Body" field, type the text of the confirmation email that you want to send to your benefit provider. Here you can also take the data autofill from the app.

4. Fill in all the rest of the required fields, test Zap, and turn it on.

How Zapier integration works

Each time users apply to this benefit, your app will trigger it to Zapier, and the benefits providers will receive an email about this application. The emails arrive about applications for this particular benefit made.
