To disable tax for a particular plan, another resource, or service, set the tax rate to 0.

4. Send the invoice by pressing Issue or charging it.

Set custom tax rate for shop products

To set a different tax rate for some shop products, do the following:

  1. Create or edit a product on the Shop page.

  2. Upon creating the product option, enable "Custom Tax Rate" and set the rate in the "Tax Rate" field.

Set custom tax rate for events

To set a different tax rate for an event, enable "Custom Tax Rate" and set the rate in the "Tax Rate" field when creating or editing an event.

How custom taxes work

The custom tax rate applies only to payments for the particular service it is set for and not to all purchases made by the user.

To illustrate, if the user has a custom tax rate set for their subscription, it is only applicable to their subscription payments. For other services, the location tax applies, or another custom tax if it is set for the specific resource or service the user is purchasing.
