The eSignature add-on allows you to send contracts to customers and let them sign electronically β no extra manual steps required.
eSignature is currently free while in beta. It will become a paid add-on.
Enable eSignature
Go to Location settings > Contracts
Enable the "eSignature" switch.
Make sure your contract template(s) contain the
{customer.signatory.signature}placeholder (and any others you need). This tells the system where the customer should sign.
Issue contracts for eSignature
Go to Billing > Contracts to create a contract for a certain customer.
Manage the "Create subscription on issue" switch.
If enabled, after all signatures are collected, a subscription is automatically created for the customer with the selected dates and items.
If disabled, no subscription is created automatically.
Manage the "Signatory for {Your location name}" switch.
Once created, open the contract and click
Issue with eSignature.
How customers receive and sign contracts electronically
Once you issue the contract:
The customer receives a request for signature via email and clicks
Sign contract. They are taken to the online signing page, where they read the contract and tap
Click to sign. The customer can draw, type, or upload their signature.
Proceed with confirming their signature.
If you enabled the "Signatory for {Your location name}" option while creating a contract, the designated signatory for your organization receives the same request and signs using the same steps.
After all required signatures are collected:
The contract is automatically marked as signed in Spacebring.
If "Create subscription on issue" was enabled during contract creation, the subscription for the customer is confirmed and created automatically.
