Sync external bookings from a marketplace platform
Updated this week

To let users and companies book workspaces and meeting rooms on demand through a marketplace platform, consider connecting an integration with Spacebring.

A marketplace platform of your choice a distinct company not affiliated with us. For any inquiries regarding their solutions, services, or pricing, please reach out to them directly. We do not have the authority to provide information or support on their behalf.

Enable integration with a marketing platform

Follow the steps below to activate a marketing platform integration:

Before connecting a marketplace platform of your choice, ensure that the marketplace supports integration with Google Calendar.

  1. Connect and configure Google Calendar integration.

  2. Grant "make changes to events" permission to the relevant email address for the calendars you wish to sync with the marketplace. Refer to the specific marketplace's guidelines for the email address.

  3. Send Calendar ID and Public URL to the relevant support team email address asking to enable the integration.

How the integration with a marketplace platform works

  • When an external booking is made, the record is created on Google Calendar, which will then sync with Spacebring.

  • The sync between Google Calendar and Spacebring is real-time, meaning updates are reflected immediately.

  • Spacebring does not support recurring reservations. If a series of bookings is made, you will receive an alert on the Notifications page.

  • While some platforms may ensure that room availability is verified before any booking is finalized, others might have different configurations based on their booking workflow. Refer to the platform's documentation or support guidelines.

  • While some platforms may sync reservations up to 90 days in advance, others might have different configurations based on their specific requirements.
