Spacebring

PayPal payment gateway integration allows you to receive payments with Spacebring.

To connect PayPal, please follow the steps below.

Obtain the <a href="https://developer.paypal.com/api/rest/#get-credentials" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">API credentials</a> from your PayPal Dashboard:

1. Open <a href="https://developer.paypal.com/dashboard/applications/live" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PayPal Dashboard</a> and create a REST API application.
2. Open the newly created application and copy <code>Client ID</code> and <code>Secret</code> from the API CREDENTIALS section.

Go to Spacebring &gt; Integrations page by pressing the menu (...) next to the location's name.

Find the PayPal integration page &gt; press <code>Connect</code>.

Paste your <code>Client ID</code> and <code>Secret</code>, and press <code>Connect</code>.

1. Obtain the <a href="https://developer.paypal.com/api/rest/#get-credentials" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">API credentials</a> from your PayPal Dashboard:
 1. Open <a href="https://developer.paypal.com/dashboard/applications/live" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PayPal Dashboard</a> and create a REST API application.
 2. Open the newly created application and copy <code>Client ID</code> and <code>Secret</code> from the API CREDENTIALS section.
2. Go to Spacebring &gt; Integrations page by pressing the menu (...) next to the location's name.
 
 
 
3. Find the PayPal integration page &gt; press <code>Connect</code>. 
4. Paste your <code>Client ID</code> and <code>Secret</code>, and press <code>Connect</code>.

Your location's currency must be set to one of <a href="https://developer.paypal.com/docs/reports/reference/paypal-supported-currencies/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PayPal's supported currencies</a>.

The integration adds a new payment method "PayPal" to the "Payment" section in member web portal and mobile apps. Users selecting the "PayPal" payment method are redirected to the PayPal payment page and fill in the payment details.

You can set the payment methods available for your clients in your PayPal account, such as credit and debit cards, PayPal balance, etc. Your members can pay for rooms, desks, events, products, credits, and invoices.

You can easily find users' transactions in the PayPal dashboard using the following unique identifiers:

ID — coincides with <code>Custom ID</code> in the PayPal dashboard. You can copy the ID of the transaction from the <a href="http://help.andcards.com/en/articles/6850686-create-custom-reports" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">"Transactions" custom report</a>.

Time — coincides with the date and time of the transaction in the Stripe dashboard. 

Description — the types of purchases users make, such as room bookings, desk bookings, Shop orders, etc.

- ID — coincides with <code>Custom ID</code> in the PayPal dashboard. You can copy the ID of the transaction from the <a href="http://help.andcards.com/en/articles/6850686-create-custom-reports" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">"Transactions" custom report</a>.
- Time — coincides with the date and time of the transaction in the Stripe dashboard. 
- Description — the types of purchases users make, such as room bookings, desk bookings, Shop orders, etc.
